RULES AND REGULATIONS

You can use any camera and editing equipment of your choice, but the final film must be submitted as a Quicktime file, ProRes 422 file, or H.264 file.

Your final film can be uploaded (via Dropbox, WeTransfer, Mega, SugarSync, HiTail, or other large file sending services). Make sure your film resolution matches how you edited it.

You have only 24 hours to write, shoot and edit your film. Your finished film can be no longer than 4 minutes. No more than five people (cast and crew) per group will be allowed to take part. You need to know your team members when you sign up.

No foul language, sexual content or graphic violence will be permitted. All films must be completely original and all permissions must be retained for any copyrighted media.

The entry fee is $50.00 per participating group and includes 5 tickets for the screening on Thursday, March 2. $25 of the entry fee goes to the price money. All participants contribute to the prize money that will be awarded to the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) of the 24-Hour Filmmaking Marathon.

You have to pay the entry fee prior to the start of the competition and no later than Friday, February 17, at 10:00 a.m. You can pay the entry fee here.

Every group promises that it will play fair and keep the rules of the filmmaking marathon. Absolutely no refund. No late entries will be allowed in the competition.
