Synopsis:
When Mormons think of the Word of Wisdom, they primarily think of the prohibitions against alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and tea, but there is a wealth of dietary counsel that is often ignored. This counsel points to the wisdom of eating a whole food, plant-based diet, which has been clinically shown to prevent, and even reverse, a multitude of modern chronic diseases. This video features the experiences of faithful members of the LDS Church who make the decision to embrace all the dietary counsel found in the Word of Wisdom. They share the powerful results of changing their diet, which include experiencing the blessings promised in D&C 89.
