Hudson Lights

Comprised of 4 vocal artists from the Rocky Mountains, Hudson Lights creates a fresh fusion of contemporary pop and jazz like you’ve never heard before! Bob Cosgrove and Valaura Arnold

Bob Cosgrove is a self-taught pianist and started writing his own music at the age of 12. He has shared his talents and performances with thousands of people through private concerts, weddings and just about any request possible. Valaura Arnold is recognized for the versatility of her artistry as a singer, actress and director. She has performed throughout the United States and has shared the stage with many musicians including Bobby McFerrin, Jenny Oaks Baker, Jon Schmidt, and Paul Cardall.

Mercy River

Whitney Permann, Brooke Stone, and Soni Muller join their voices to create stunning harmonies that bring warmth to anyone who has heard them. Combined, the moms of Mercy River have 13 children. Even with their busy lives as mothers they have made time to create and share their music with the world. The three friends met while singing in the Jenny Phillips Choir. Mercy River performs all around the nation, spreading their love of music and message of peace and hope. They have released four albums since 2008 and are a beloved part of the Time Out For Women tour.

Salt Lake Pops Quartet

The Salt Lake Pops Quartet has been playing together since July 2013. It was formed specifically for a Salt Lake Pops Orchestra concert, but then decided to continue performing as a group. The quartet consists of Nicole Marriott (oboe), Kerstin Tenney (violin), Jarom Xochimitl (cello), and Jason Kelly (guitar). The unique combination of these instruments lends itself well to a variety of popular songs, and they create many of their own arrangements.

Ginger Colony

Ginger Colony is a Provo-based band influenced by John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and Maroon 5. Comprised of Jace Norton and Taylor Woodward, who both are currently attending BYU, Ginger Colony is an acoustic duo that has lofty goals of playing someday at either the White House or Parliament in England. They have won several Open Mic Competitions and have played shows across Utah Valley including the most popular prisons, restaurants, and living rooms. They are currently working on recording their first EP.

April Meservy

Five-time Pearl Award Winning Singer-Songwriter April Meservy has been featured on over 100 albums and compilations released all over the world, in addition to film and commercial spots. She toured nearly 50 cities throughout the United States after the release of her debut album Somewhere Between Sunsets. April's love for singing and songwriting has led her to opportunities to perform in places as far away as China and as close as Salt Lake City, such as her invitation to sing in Salt Lake City's Olympic Square during the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Shrink the Giant

Shrink the Giant is an indie alternative rock band, fronted by Utah-raised actress and composer Stefania Barr, and backed by Aaron Hurt, Sebastian Barr, Marisa Wilde, and Jason Ash. As X96’s 2012 Battle-of-the-Bands winner, Shrink the Giant has shared a stage with Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, Group Love, Awolnation, and The Used. Chris Robley of CD Baby said their 12-song debut album "sounds like a broken-hearted video game romance sponsored by Redbull." The band is currently finishing their second album to be released in spring 2014.

Jon Cheney

Jon Cheney has a love of music matched by few. He self-published his first CD when he was just 18 years old and continues to compose and play his own music, whenever he can find a piano nearby. Jon has accompanied many local artists and has performed recently for a local TV show. His style can be describe as film/contemporary classical. His music can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and most major online music distributors.

TLC Trio

TLC Trio is made up of the colorful violins of Lauren and Connor Madsen and the lively piano of Tessa Young. They are a unique blend of traditional sound and twenty-first century rhythm, most known for their versions of contemporary hits by artists such as U2, Journey, Lady Gaga, Duran Duran, Queen, INXS, The Cure, and The Eurythmics, to name a few. When these songs are played by a piano/violin trio, the juxtaposition of classical instrumentation playing contemporary music is unforgettable.

DJ Shawn Phillips

Shawn has been a DJ for many years and was named "the godfather of the Salt Lake City hip hop and House scene" by Blaze Magazine. In addition to Shawn's years of experience in the clubs and on radio, he's also maintained close ties to the national dance music industry and was named "Billboard Reporting DJ of the Year" in 1999 and "Club DJ of the Year" in 2000. Shawn continues to be heard around the country and at local Utah clubs with his exclusive mixes. Whether it is his quick many styles mash-up sound or his love with House music, he continues to pioneer the next level in the world of the Real DJ.
