RULES AND REGULATIONS

You can use any equipment and format of your choice, but your final film needs to be submitted on a DVD, DVD with a Final Cut Quicktime File, or on mini-DV.

You have only 24 hours to write, shoot and edit your film. Your finished film can be no longer than 3 minutes. No more than five people (cast and crew) per group will be allowed to take part. You need to know your team members when you sign up.

At least one member of the group needs to be present for sign-up and drop-off. No foul language, sexual content or graphic violence will be permitted. All films must be completely original and all permissions must be retained for any copyrighted media.

The entry fee is $45.00 per participating group and includes 5 tickets for the screening on Thursday, January 21. $20 of the entry fee goes to the price money. All participants contribute to the prize money that will be awarded to the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) of the 24-Hour Filmmaking Marathon.

Every group promises that it will play fair and keep the rules of the filmmaking marathon. Absolutely no refund. No late entries will be allowed in the competition.
